The voice belongs to Sara, who recounts her childhood in Czestochowa, Poland. Experiences from her life: how she ended up in a ghetto as a child, later in a concentration camp, which was liberated towards the end of the war. She then lived first in Israel, later in the GDR. Karsten Troyke gives concerts in the Hackesche Höfe. He sings Yiddish songs, most of which he learned from Sara. She had not forgotten them.
